ishte një ditë energjike
plotë dhjetë km të ecura
dhe dita iku, mbrëmja erdhi
po, unë, s’u ndala
eca tutje
diçka më tërhiqte
të shkoja larg, jo nga vetja
po afër teje
eh, ç’rastësi
një dritë e fortë
mi gudulisi sytë
se sytë e saj flakëronin
e ai ndriçim mi hapi sytë
edhe n’pikë t’natës.

I know

it was an energetic day

fix tenth km walked
and the day has gone, the evening came

but, me,  I did not stop,

walked further
something was pulling me
to go further away, but not from myself

but close to you

well, what a coincidence

a strong light beam

tickled my eyes

because her eyes were blazing

and this radiance

opened my eyes

even in the middle of the night
